Dana W. Hopkins, age 79, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He was a United States Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was retired from Berkline. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elsie Hopkins; brother, Bill Alan Hopkins; and an infant sister. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Billy Hopkins; daughter, Donna (Tom) Gardner; grandson, Will Gardner; siblings, Ken (Diane) Hopkins, Lois (Clem) Seals, Geneva (Joe) Price, Esther Cannon, Norma Calfee, Judy (Gary) Ramsey; special caregiver, Darla Hipshire; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13th from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Ken Hopkins, Brother Richard Crayne, and Pastor Ken Peacock will officiate. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
