Kenneth “Ken” Chaney, 53, passed away Monday, January 12, 2016 at his home. Ken worked as a manager in the restaurant industry. He was born on May 15, 1962, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Jack and Elizabeth (Workman) Chaney. On May 31, 2005 in South Bend, IN he married Jennifer (Gushwa) Chaney.

Along with his loving wife, Jennifer, he is survived by his son, Jacob Chaney and daughter, Katherine “Katie” Chaney both of South Bend; his sister, Marie Fleck of Altamont, IL; and nephew Mark Mears of New Orleans.

Ken loved being a father. He also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and playing pool.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, where friends may visit from 5:00 PM until time of services. Pastor David Honeycutt of Deer Run Church of Christ will officiate.
