VIRGIL J. ANGEVINE was born July 14, 1821 Pleasant Valley, Dutchess, NY and died October 17, 1882 Hyde Park, Dutchess, NY; married 1st Frances Teleboshe Rowland (born October 1, 1822 NY and died March 30, 1863); married 2d 1864, Emma Jane Cozine (1846-1889).

Possibly buried at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (not verified).

Angevine Genealogy by Clyde V. Angevine, p.125, lists just the first two children, followed by eight more children of Emma Cozine.

The Ferris Genealogy also omits the third child, Ella Angevine.


The 1865 NY state census shows the third child Ella as Ellia, age 4:

Ella Angevine married in 1885 Edward M. Drake, parents of Edward Cornelius Drake, grandfather of TV personality Bill O'Reilly. The 1900 census gives her birth as Sept 1864 (perhaps should be Sept. 1861/2).
In 1884, Ellen Angevine and Edward Drake, possibly the same couple, were both employees ("attendants") working at the Hudson River State Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.
