GATES – Elizabeth M., 87, Johnstown, died Jan. 8, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 25, 1928, Johnstown, daughter of the late Charles K. and Ida R. (Cover) Nagy. Preceded in death by husband, Donald L. Gates Sr.; son, Bryan W. Gates; brother, Charles Nagy Jr.; and sister, Ida Nagy. Survived by her children, Donald Gates Jr.; and Linda Coyle, and husband, Mark, both of Johnstown; grandchildren, Stephen Gates, and wife, Amber; Ryan Coyle; Lauren Demek, and husband, Justin; Kathleen Gates; and Kirsten Coyle; great-grandson, Brody Demek; brother, Richard Nagy, and wife, Janet; and beloved caregiver and friend, Nancy. Elizabeth was a member of First Lutheran Church. A private service and interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Pastor Lynne O’Shea, officiating.
