Beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucy Lucille James Edens Provstgard, age 78, died February 7, 1998 in Dickson, Tennessee.

She was born March 16, 1919 in Chandler, Arizona the daughter of Abe James and Amy Fuller James. She married William Balis Edens on May 9, 1939 in Cottonwood, AZ; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1978. She later married George Carol Provstgard on April 23, 1983 in West Jordan, Utah. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1991. As an active member of the LDS Church all of her life, she worked many years in Primary, YW Mutual, and Jr. Sunday School.

She is survived by brothers, Walter (Leta) James of Kingman, AZ and Preston (Ruth) James of Cottonwood, AZ; sons, Wm. James (Judith Ann) Edens of Dickson, TN and Wm. Preston (Karma) Edens of Clearfield, UT; daughters, Judith L. Edens of Hemlock, MI and Diana Edens of Clearfield, UT; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services on Saturday, February 14th, at 1:30 p.m., Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 South. Viewing for family and friends will be Saturday, 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple.
