Glen Minton, 52, a former Electra resident residing in Golden Meadows, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 11, in Galliano La., after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Born March 9, 1917. in Burkburnett, he moved from Electra nine years ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 p m. Friday from the chapel of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Thompson, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial was in New Electra Cemetery under direction of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife; one son. Bob Minton of Golden Meadows; his mother,. Mrs J. B. Minton of Electra; one sister, Mrs. Clint White of Vernon, and two brothers, Johnny Minton of Bridgeport and R. E Minton of Longview._
