Candace K. Williams, 51, of 306 Colegate Drive died Sunday (Sept. 3, 2006).

She was born Oct. 23, 1954, in Marietta, to the late Gene and Martha Morrow Craig. She was a graduate of Marietta High School and had been a truck driver for Lewis Transportation Inc. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, horses, and flowers.

On Sept. 16, 1982, she was married to William C. Williams Jr., who survives with two sons, Gene D. Craig and Trent W. Offenberger, both of Marietta; two stepsons, Bill Jacobs and Kenny Williams of Marietta; and a stepdaughter, Helena Riggs of Marietta. She is also survived by one brother, Eddie Craig and his wife, Diane, of Marietta; several nephews and nieces, Craig Coughlin, Kevin Craig, Nicole Offenberger, Christie Craig, and Kelly Hall; 23 grandchildren; one grandniece; one grandnephew; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kimberly Coughlin and Deborah J. Hendershot; and a stepson, Allen G. Williams.

Double funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment in East Lawn Memorial Park. Evangelist J.B. Conley will officiate. Friends may call from 1 p.m. Friday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
