Doris A. Waeldin, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2016. She was born in Peabody, KS to Dr. M.L. and Mary Brakebill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wilber; and her husband of 49 years, Maurice E. Waeldin; and one sister, Mary (Orville) Walker of Independence, MO;
Doris and Maurice made their home in Salina, KS where she was a homemaker and he a grain merchant.
Doris was a member of the peacemaker's class at the First United Methodist Church in Salina, a member of Chapter DL of PEO and the Salina Country Club. She was currently residing at The Regent, an independent living facility in Wichita, KS.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn (Jon) Tilton of Wichita and Joan (Garth) Wilson of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren;
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to funeral service.
Funeral services at 1:30pm on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
