SANDRA NORRIS, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born November 30, 1943 in Blue Eye, Arkansas, a daughter of Willis and Anthrea (Landon) Cary. She departed this life Saturday, January 09, 2016 in her home with family by her side in Green Forest, at the age of 72 years.
Sandra worked as the director of food in the public school system.
She is survived by one son, Chad Norris of Green Forest; three brothers, Donald Cary and wife Maxine of Berryville, Ronald Cary and wife Janet of Berryville and Wyndell Cary and wife Grace of Blue Eye, Missouri; two sisters, Emma Jean McCormick of De Leon, Texas and Jaynie Jones of Green Forest; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Anthrea Cary; one niece, Jennifer Cary; and two nephews, Ricky Joe Cary and Lanny McKinney.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Reverend Keith Butler officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Blue Eye Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
