Wilma T. Tull, 91, died Aug. 21, 2006, at Heart of The Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida.

She was born Oct. 31, 1914, in Elwood, Neb., to Elias Aaron and Amalia (Huckfeldt) Nott.

Ms. Tull moved to Salida 35 years ago from California. Before arriving in Salida, she and her father owned and operated a real estate and insurance company in Nebraska from 1948-62. She was quite a pioneer because in that era, women did not work outside the home.

Ms. Tull enjoyed oil painting and painted several pictures. She was an avid swimmer and bowler. She worked for many years as a clerk in the Chaffee County Treasurer's Office.

Survivors are her son, Ronald (Betty) Tull of Omaha, Neb. and daughter, Sharon (Pete) Salerno of Salida; brothers, Wayne Nott of Omaha, Neb. and Raliegh (Elanor) Nott of Elwood, Neb.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Franklin, David (Stephanie) Salerno, Ronald (Debrah) Salerno and Teresa (Brian) Burnett; great-grandchildren, Ericka Franklin, Alara Franklin, Rachel Franklin, Peter Franklin, Dillon Salerno, Riley Ann Salerno, Katy Ames, Lorna Salerno, Connor Burnett and Griffin Burnett; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Jean Nott in 1946.

Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Aug. 29, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place at a later date in Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Neb.

Friends who want to may make memorial contributions to the Heart of The Rockies Regional Medical Center or the First Presbyterian Church through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
