Harlan (Harley) Sanford Moen, 76, passed away January 1, 2016, at home, in Lake Wales, Fla., formerly of Caledonia and Freeburg, Minn. and Frederick, Md., surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic and bone cancer. He was the son of Sanford Odin and Hazel Christine (Hanson) Moen. He married Coleen Antoinette (Noel) Lenser February 18, 1984.

Harley was a sales manager in the building trade until his retirement, but he said, his favorite job was running the merry-go-round at the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales, which he did after retirement. Children loved him and wanted him to look after their favorite horse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law, Lila Noel, father-in-law, Andrew Noel, a great nephew and his unofficial “brother” Ronald Grenier.
