Patsy A. Harmon, 78 formerly from Kokomo passed away at 12:50 am on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Ozark Nursing & Care Center in Ozark, MO after and extended illness.. She was born on April 6, 1937 in Forest Park, MI to Ralph D. Willoughby and Sybil (Johnson) Willoughby. She married James R. Harmon on September 4, 1955, who preceded her in death..

Patsy was a 1955 Kokomo High School graduate and worked as an insurance agent for Trobaugh Insurance then transitioned to Miller & Finch Insurance, from which she retried. She was a member of two chapters in the National Campers and Hikers Association, Delco Solid State Campers, where she held several offices including president and secretary / treasurer, and the Tee Pee Toters. As a youth, she was involved in the Eastern Star organization.

Patsy loved to travel, go camping, hiking, and fishing, and was an avid knitter and puzzle enthusiast. She and James also owned a home in North Ft. Myers, Fl, where they wintered for many years.

Survivors include two sons, James Harmon Jr. and wife Jeanine of Garland, TX, and Jeffrey Harmon and wife Anita of Branson, MO; two grandchildren James Arron Harmon, Alana Harmon both of Branson, Mo; and two brothers Mack Willoughby and wife Mattigene of Carmel, and Richard. Willoughby and wife Teckla of Russiaville,

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home 1315 W. Lincoln Road with Pastor Steve Sherwood officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, January 14 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
