Tony R. Curtis, 47, of Springville passed away from this life to be with Jesus at his residence on Saturday, January 9, 2016.

He was born on April 30, 1968 in Morgan County to Dwight Curtis and Linda "Gracie" (Lawless) Mitchell. He was the husband of Sandra (Patrick) Curtis. Tony or "Fathead" by which he was so affectionately called by many of his friends, grew up playing baseball. He loved to hunt with his Dad and loved camping out, fishing, gardening, and canning. He was an awesome electrician but his real love was working in the junk yard. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Tony is survived by his wife, Sandra Curtis; mother, Gracie Mitchell and step father Larry; children, Tiffany (Rick) Moser of Bloomington, Ton (Dani) Curtis of Unionville, Jaymie (Danny) Grubb of Bloomington; and Morgan (Damon) Curtis of Bloomington; step-daughters, Tori Weiss and Taylor (Adam) Bridgewater, and step-son, Terry Weiss; step-mother, Cleta Curtis; step-brother, Parker Curtis; brother, Buddy Mitchell; eleven grandchildren, Kylie, Brice, Emma, Kasia, Braxton, Cale, Kinsley, Millie, Sophia, Willow, and Mariana; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father, Dwight Curtis.

A memorial service will be held at the House of Prayer Ellettsville on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the services.
