Erma L. Arnold, age 80, of Fisk, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Arnold was born October 12, 1935 in Fisk, the daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah Elizabeth Hayes Fields. She was a member of Ash Hill General Baptist Church and was a member of the Mole Hill Cemetery Board. She had worked for Jolly Gas, Ferrell Gas for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, antiques, and shopping, and enjoyed cooking and helping with family and community dinners. On January 28, 1956 she married Samuel Arnold. He preceded her in death of November 23, 2014. She is survived by one daughter: Connie Brown and husband Kenneth of Roanoke, Virginia; one son: James Arnold and wife Rhonda of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren: Amy Brooks, Steven Brown, Jamie Arnold and Jesse Greer; one brother: James (Lois) Fields of Lenexa, Kansas; three sisters: Paula (Klark) Exarhou of Chesterfield, Missouri, Kathy (Bobby) Baker of Ferguson, Missouri and Janice (Larry) Arnold of Fisk, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by one sister: Betty Jacky and one brother: Kenneth Fields. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Fields and Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Mole Hill Cemetery.
