Herman Stephen "Willie" Anderson passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in Memorial Hospital West on November the 18th, 2015 in Pembroke Pines, Florida at the age of 75. At the time of his passing he was in the hearts of those he loved the most.

Herman Anderson is survived by his wife: Donna L. Anderson; Children: Darren "Eliias" Anderson, Richard Gray, Erika Anderson and Suzette Anderson-Mason and Son-in-law Craig Mason; Grandchildren: Charlotte Anderson, Danielle Cubbins, Zac Anderson, Theo Anderson, Indigo Anderson, Raja Gray, Richard Gray, Rashaun Gray, Kizzy Anderson, Malayah Mason; Siblings: Kenneth Anderson, Hazel Anderson, Olive McLauren, Carol Henry; Nieces, Nephews, cousins and Mentees, Friends and Patrons.

Those who proceded him in death are: Siblings Ms. Daisey Anderson, Mrs. Joyce Duncan, Mrs. Lydia Perry, John Anderson, Leo Anderson, twin brother Derrick Anderson and Son Stephen Anderson.

Herman Anderson was born on February 19,1940 in Kellits, Jamaica to Iry and Alexandrina Anderson. He attended Kellits Elementary School then moved on to learn the automotive trade as an apprentice. His father asked him what he wanted to do next? He then decided that he wanted to make a career as an automotive repair mechanic.
After a brief time in Kingston's Motor Sales apprenticeship, Herman traveled to England to reunite with his brothers. He worked for three major companies in UK, Land Rover, University Motors and Henry Telfers.
Herman lived happily in UK for thirteen years, however decided to join his sisters in Brooklyn, New York where he worked for his brother Derrick at his automotive shop. After some years he met and wedded his wife Donna Lynn Anderson. They moved from New York then, to Atl, then to Jamaica, and finally Florida.
Herman had excellent business sense when applying his entrepreneurial skills in search of lucrative business opportunities.
While living in St. Mary, Jamaica, he along with his wife Donna built a commercial automotive plaza containing a gas station, car wash, grocery store, and auto repair.

He was always able to overcome any health issues that arose in his path.
He was a very mathematically inclined, quick witted and very business savvy.
Some of his sayings included: "You'll learn how to put food up-on table", "Your belly roll", and "You can't walk in my old shoes".
He was a devoted patron of the fine art of Horse racing, a world traveler, respected mentor/leader to many and advocate for saving and respecting money.
Herman Anderson will be missed!

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood and Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 at the church.Those wishing to express an act of kindness in lieu of flowers may make a donation to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation,(www.curemeso.org) 1317 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Herman's funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Saturday morning, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 at Fountain of New Life Church, 4601 NW 167 Street, Opa-locka, FL. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens West.
