Tom Coyle, 90, long-time resident of Lewisville passed away last weekend. Tom came from a large family of brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Berniece and son Douglas.
Tom served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Tom earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Texas. During his work life he was employed in the oil fields, later as a teacher and coach, and then spent 35 years in the defense industry. After retirement he continued to teach at area colleges in computer sciences.
He also was a former member of the Lion’s Club, Denton Junior Optimist Judo Club, as a Boy Scout leader. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
