Mr. Ricky Gene Byers, 60, of Brookhaven, died January 7, 2016 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Knoxville, Iowa on July 31, 1955. He was the son of the late Harold D. Wright and Juanita Winkleman. He was the adopted son of Hughey Byers
Mr. Byers was an employee of Walmart Distribution Center for over seventeen years. He was also a member of Mallalieu United Methodist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelia Byers; daughter, Misty Byers; father, Hughey Byers; brothers, Michael Byers, Peyton Byers, Eldon Byers; sisters, Roxanne Wozny, and Sharon Gersdorf.
