Major League Baseball Player. He spent eight seasons in the major leagues as a catcher with the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies. Grace made his major league debut in 1929 at the age of 22. He appeared in 627 games during his big league career, and retired with 31 home runs and a .263 lifetime batting average.
