Monica Rae Wright, age 58, of Quincy, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Born on February 27, 1957 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Jack and Estelle (Southwick) Rogers.
Monica was a full-time mother, grandmother, and wife and loved her job at Cook and her entire Cook family.
She graduated from Owen Valley High School and was a member of Cuba Baptist Church and the Indiana Dream Team.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Rogers; and son, James Lee Rike.
Survivors include her husband, Donny Wright; children, Chad Beck, Robbie Rike, Bobbie Rike (Ericka) and Amy Hasselburg; the father of her children, Bud Rike (Andrea); grandchildren, Baize Vedder-Rike, Lily, Eligha and Gabriel Hasselburg, and Hank Dean Rike; niece, Tosha Taylor; mother-in-law, Bekki Sprouse (Jerry Anderson); and brother-in-law, Nathan Wright.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home-Whitaker Chapel in Gosport, with Pastor Alan Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Centerton Cemetery.
