Billy E. (Brownie) Roach, age 84, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. He was a member of John Sevier Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force stationed in England. He enjoyed gardening, flea marketing and working with his hands. But above all he was a hard working, honest, simple man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Roach; daughters, Angela (Ray) Irick, Kimberly (Mike) Hamilton; grandson, Justin (Ashley) Irick; great-granddaughter, Madison Irick, whom he adored; sister, Betty Watson; brother, CB Roach.
Family and friends will meet at 12:45 PM, Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service at 1:00 PM with his son-in-law Mike Hamilton officiating.
