Teresa Gay Barnes was born December 31, 1959 in Henderson, Texas to proud parents Marlan Ray and Doris Mildred Hardin Barnes. Teresa finished her journey on this earth on the evening of January 10, 2016 in Tyler, Texas. She is now in Heaven waiting on all of us while rejoicing with those already there. We can rest assured she is fulfilling her duties as " Chief " gardener and flower arranger in every corner of Heaven.
She retired from Texas Eastman after several years of service. In retirement Teresa volunteered at Heart's Way Hospice of Northeast Texas, Carthage office, visiting patients in Henderson. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her Lord above all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Roy Hardin and Della Smith Gregory, Mansfield and Eppie Mae Barnes, and granddaughter Michaila Davidson.
