Allen B. Weil, 76, of Economy, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, in Allegheny General Hospital.
He was born July 27, 1939, in Economy Borough, PA, to the late Clifford Weil and Mary Alberts Weil. He was a retired machinist for the former Eaton Corporation, Beaver. Allen was also a member of New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Rochester Masonic Lodge #229 F&AM.
Surviving are a son, Christopher Weil of Economy and his fiancée, Rhonda Gaus of Ambridge; two grandsons, Petty Officer Cody Weil, U.S. Navy and his wife Miranda of Gaithersburg, MD and Tyler Weil of Ambridge; a brother, Paul (Pat) Weil of Zephyr Hills, FL; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Weil of Freedom and Janet Weil of Baden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sister, Sara Mae (Sis) Smith; infant brother, Richard Weil and brothers, Charles and Harold Weil.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a funeral service will conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Martin Gailbraith officiating. Private interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
