Mrs. Rachel C. Vaughn age 80 of Wingo passed away at 3:48 PM on Saturday January 9, 2016 at the Baptist Health Paducah. She was a member of the Water Valley Pentecostal Church. She is survived by 2 daughters- Ava Vaughn of Mayfield and Peggy Rockwell of Fulton, 3 sons- Robert Vaughn Jr. of LaVern, TN., William Vaughn of Triton, TN., and Jeff Vaughn of Hickory, 2 sisters- Julia Reynolds of Friendship, TN., and Sara Sanders of Fulton, 8 brothers- Jimmy and Sammy McCoy both of Wingo, David and Jesse McCoy both of Union City, TN., Charles McCoy of Fulton, Jerry McCoy and Billy Joe McCoy both of South Fulton, and Freddie McCoy of Atlanta, GA., 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents- Fred and Ava Nell Yates McCoy, 1 son- Ricky Vaughn and 1 step-brother- Fred McCoy Jr. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with Rev’s Larry McClure and Cory Holt officiating, burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, friends may call after 5:00 PM Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
