She is believed to have died between 1790 and 1827, probably in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Joanna married Zebulon Jennings Jr. on June 17, 1762. After his death, and after 1779, she married Ephraim Woodruff (1753-1827) a Revolutionary War veteran.
Ephraim, Joanna and her five children from her previous marriage removed to present day Georges Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania sometime between 1785 and 1787. Several relatives of the Jennings and Woodruff families preceded them some twenty years earlier. Joanna and Ephraim had one child, a daughter Johanna. She was baptized on March 9, 1783 and married James McClelland about 1790.
Joanna Little is thought to have been a fifth-generation Littell, having descended from George Littell who emigrated from London, England in 1630.
Joanna's place of death and interment is unknown.
