Marie C. Sharp, 84, of White Oak, formerly of Liberty Borough, died Jan. 8, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born Dec. 14, 1931, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Mular) Pezel, and beloved wife of the late Edwin Sharp. Marie was a dedicated mother, who always looked after her children in any way she could. She enjoyed listening to polka music, playing bingo, crocheting, and sewing handmade dresses for her daughters. She is survived by her children, Cathleen (Judge Roderick) Frisk, of Fombell, Mark Sharp, of White Oak, Leslie Sharp, of East Pittsburgh, Karen Sharp and Kevin Sharp, both of home; grandchildren, Brian (Jenn) Frisk, Diane (Randall) Parry and Dr. Kimberly (Dr. Chase) Fetters; great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Brandon Parry, and one on the way; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Pezel.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, in the funeral home. Father Michael Maranowski will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
