Francis J. Edwards of Tabernacle, New Jersey died Friday, January 8, 2016 at Samaritan VITAS Hospice. He was 89 years old. Francis was born January 25, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late George Y. Edwards and the late Anna M. Edwards (nee - McAllister). He is the beloved husband of the late Agnes Edwards. Brother of Esther Dunner, the late Edward Edwards, and the late Jane Castelow.
Francis was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. He was inducted into the United States Army at the end of World War II. He worked for many years in the maintenance and custodial department for the Medford School District in New Jersey. In his free time, Francis enjoyed woodworking.
