Frances Vanlandingham Parks, 86, passed away January 8, 2016 at home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at Highland Baptist Church with burial following in Rosemont Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church and will resume at 10 a.m. Monday.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman and her 8 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Parks was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Packard Electric.
She is survived by her children Larry Parks (Carol), Fay Blaylock (Rudy) and Randy Parks (Kim). She is also survived by 3 sisters, Florence Proctor of Jackson; Glenda Speed of Jackson and McCrea Shelton (Paul) of Madison.
Frances was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
