Maxine Crews, 93, passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016.
Maxine was born July 27, 1922, in Malone. Mother was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. Like so many of her generation, her focus was on God and family. Her favorite times were in church, with family, and playing bridge, and she was a champion of them all.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James "Jimmie" Crews.
Survivors: Son, Joe Crews (Nancy); daughters, Bette Dart (Ken) and Diane Vaughan (Dale); seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sam Crews; numerous nieces and nephews.
