Billy Wade Lamb, 51, of Ridgely, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare – Dyersburg Regional.

Born February 6, 1964, he was the son of the late Betty Sue Dotson Lamb and Robert “Billy” Lamb, Jr.

He was a truck driver for Volunteer Express and a member of Ridgely Church of Christ.

He was an Army veteran.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Mr. Jeff O’Dell with interment to follow in Keefe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Butler, Matt Riley, Stacy Rudd, Bradley Bishop, David Fowlkes, Kurtiss Lamb, Brent Peevyhouse, Randy Lamb and Larry Walton.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 11th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lamb, son, Thomas Lamb, both of Jonesboro, GA; his father, Robert Lamb, Jr. of Ridgely; two sisters, Tammy Lamb Holden (Patrick) of Dyersburg, Holly Lamb of Tiptonville; and one brother, Marty Lamb of Dyersburg.

The family requests memorials be directed to Ridgely Church of Christ.
