He is survived by his wife, A. Elizabeth Seagroves Blaylock; one son, Tommy Blaylock and wife, Patricia of Hillsborough; one daughter, Peggy Blaylock Whitley of Durham; one sister, Rose Ann Cobb of Burlington; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Blaylock was a native of Caswell County and was the son of the late James Thomas Blaylock and Rose Oakley Blaylock. He was a veteran of the United States Army and World War II. Mr. Blaylock had lived in Durham most of his life and retired from Ben Fuller's Service Station. He was a member of Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church in Yancyville. He loved his grandchildren.
