Thomas Wiley Memorial

The dedication of a memorial stone to Thomas Wiley in honor of his Revolutionary War Service was held October 8, 2005 at 1 PM at the Jenny Wiley Cemetery, River, KY.

The Jenny Wiley Association met on October 8 at 11 AM in the River Community Center, River, KY to elect new officers, and hold a dedication ceremony at 1 PM to honor the Revolutionary War service of Thomas Wiley, husband of Jenny Wiley. The dedication ceremony was conducted by the Auxier chapter of the DAV. A wreath was laid at the base of Thomas's stone by Bonnie Wiley, Geneseo (IL) Chapter, NSDAR, assisted by Paul Wiley, and Ellis Wiley. There was a 21-volley salute, and taps were played. Guy Meade laid a wreath at the base of the Jenny Wiley monument.
