Barbara Sue Oldham Tichenor, 84, of Bowling Green, KY passed away peacefully January 7, 2015 at Christian Health Care in Bowling Green.
Barbara Sue was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on January 29, 1931 to the late Harvey Russell and Ida Louvenia Oldham. Sue is preceded in death by her late husband of 64 years, Ernest Perry Tichenor. She is also preceded in death by son, Jon Kevin Tichenor, and a granddaughter, Jamie L. Lyons.
Sue was a retired secretary from Longfellow school in Owensboro. She and her husband operated the Russell Oldham Sunoco Service Station until their retirement in 1992. Sue was an active member at Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, where she served as Children's Choir Director for a number of years. She and her husband moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1997 and became beloved members of Rich Pond Baptist Church.
Burial will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro, Kentucky with services at 3:30 pm on Monday at the mausoleum chapel.
