Susan Renee Payne, 59, of Gray, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at her residence.

The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Pastor Rodney McCant will officiate.

Mrs. Payne was born September 8, 1956, in Macon and had lived in Jones County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Brown and Flora Mae Schubert Brown. Mrs. Payne worked as a former dispatcher for a freight line company and was preceded in death by her brother: Dennis Brown.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband: David Payne; children: Jamie Brown, Kaley Payne, Katina Nobles(Jamie), Tish Carruthers and Chris Payne; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to All About Animals Rescue Macon, Post Office Box 4331, Macon, Georgia 31208.

The family may be contacted at the residence in Jones County.
