Mrs. Mary Williams Sturtevant, wife of the Rt. Rev. Harwood Sturtevant, D. D., died Sunday of an apparent heart attack at Sun Coast Manor, 6909 Ninth St. South, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Bishop Sturtevant led the Fond du Lac Episcopal diocese for 23 years, retiring in 1956, when he and Mrs. Sturtevant took up residence in Florida.
Surviving are Bishop Sturtevant of Sun Coast Manor at St. Petersburg, Fla.; and three children, Dr. Harwood Sturtevant Jr., Mrs. Kenneth Donald and Mrs. Samuel Marvel.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew’s Church, 738 S. Pinellas Point Drive, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Cremation will follow with the ashes to be interred in the Cathedral Church of St Paul in Fond du Lac.
