Royce Woodrow Johnson, 100 years old, passed away on January 6, 2016. He was born June 17, 1915 in Granite, Oklahoma.
At Southwestern State University, Weatherford, Royce obtained BS in Education. He took pilot lessons through a free government program. In the Air Force, Royce was a flight officer. He retired from the Air Force also retiring from Tinker Air Force Base. Royce loved to travel in his Airstream trailer. When not traveling, he was restoring trailers.
He is survived by his wife, Freda; daughter, Theresa Keating; son, Roy Johnson; brother, Paul Johnson; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors was held, January 12, 2016 followed by family dinner at First Baptist Church, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
