Larry Eugene O'Brien, 81, passed away June 13, 2013 at Kavanagh Hospice House.
He was born May 20, 1932 in Wooster, OH to George and Isabelle O'Brien. He was the youngest of eight children, and all, including his parents, precede him in death.
Larry served the U.S. Army in Korea. In 1955 he married Phyllis Miracle, who survives, along with two sons, Steven (Dalene) of Boone and Kenneth (Kimberly) of Van Meter; and one grandchild, Kathryn (William) Giusto.
Larry worked for the American Heart Association and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. According to his wishes there will be a private inurnment service held at a later date.
Memorials may be sent to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Kavanagh House.
