OBITUARY: George Westley, 45, Former Alma Man, Died in North Dakota

Alma, Wisconsin - (Special) George Westley, 45, was found dead in bed Wednesday in Fairmont, ND, apparently as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Tuesday night.

Mr. Westley, an Alma resident until three months ago, lived in Fairmont and worked for the Barnard-Curtis Construction Company, Wahpeton, ND, driving back and forth each day. Tuesday night, returning to his boarding house, his automobile ran into a ditch. He went to his house and retired, apparently uninjured, but apparently had suffered internal injuries.

Funeral arrangements are being completed. Burial will be in Lund, Wisconsin.

Mr. Westley was born at Stockholm, Wisconsin (sic - Pepin), December 24, 1900, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Westley. Two sisters and one brother are dead and eight survive. He attended school at Stockholm.

He married Pearle Stein, September 25, 1926 in St. Paul and they resided in Plum City, Wisconsin for about ten years. Mr. Westley worked as a cream hauler for the Lakeview Creameries about 12 years. The Westley's moved from Pepin to Alma about two years ago.

In addition to his brothers and sisters living in the Stockholm and Maiden Rock area, he is survived by his wife and two daughters, Shirley and Beverly, all at home.
