Stuart L. "Steve" Sargent, 84, a resident of Thurston County for 30 years, died of natural causes, Wed., March 15, 1995 at Capital Medical Center, Olympia. Mr. Sargent was born Sept. 30, 1910 in Marquette, WI to Sewell J. and Aura T. (Wilson) Sargent. He attended Lincoln High School, Tacoma. He was married to Edna (Freeman) Snell, Dec. 3, 1977, Fox Island, WA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby in 1976. Mr. Sargent worked for the Forest service in his early years. He was employed by the State of Washington as an electrical supervisor. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge; 40 year member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Tacoma. He enjoyed the outdoors. Mr. Sargent was known in the Summit Lake area as the man who swam everyday, year round. He loved traveling, building and fixing things.
