Mary Ann "Polly" Everhart was the second of four known children of Michael Everhart (1795-p1880) and Mary Livengood (c1798-c1830), who married on 12 Feb 1822. After Mary died, Michael remarried to Susannah (Susan?) Livengood (c1800-c1860) and had an additional three known children.
Polly was listed as age 25 in the 1850 census, but listed as born May 1830 in the 1900 census (at Davie County, North Carolina). Polly married Nicholas Shuler (1817-1883) on 02 Feb 1848. Polly and Nicholas were the parents of five known children, namely:
1. Catherine Jane Shuler Leonard (1849-1927)
2. David Washington Shuler (1850-1933)
3. Sophia Shuler Crotts ( 1852-1931)
4. infant Shuler (???-young)
5. Fre3derick Shuler (c1869-a1880)
In 1900 Polly was living with her daughter Sophia Shuler Crotts at Davie County, North Carolina. Polly is thought to be actually buried at the Concord Methodist Church Cemetery in Davie County, North Carolina.
