Dr. John H. "Buc" Barganier 92 of Odessa passed away September 7, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday September 11, 2006 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeanne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
John was born in Marlin, Texas on January 11, 1914 to Guy Herman and Cleo (Redding) Barganier. He practiced medicine with Dr. J.K. Wood from 1938 to 1972. He served as Chief of Staff at Medical Center Hospital in the 1950's and severed on many boards at the hospital. He was a member of the Odessa Jaycees and First United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wives Patrina Niland in 1980 and Ruby Pilgram Ingram in 1997 and two sisters Winona Ward and Velma Garrett.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Scott Barganier of Odessa; son Johnny Barganier and wife Linda of Odessa; daughter Sally Fowler of Midland; step son Leon Ingram of Ft. Worth; step daughters Roberta Landreth of Ft. Worth, Shelby Pritzhoff; sister Lois Fielder of Irving, Texas; grandson Jeffery Barganier of South Korea; great grandson Braun Barganier of South Korea.
