Rodney M. Blake was born in Klamath, OR to Earl and Mary Lou (Sweet) Loper. After Earl's death in February 1959, Mary Lou married Lew Blake. He was raised in Tulelake, CA, then they moved to Willows, CA in 1972 where he attended school. As an adult, Rod became a very skilled mastery carpenter and worked for many affluent people in the community.
Rod enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and traveling. Survivors include; long time partner Michelle Blake of Estacada; daughter Mackenzie Rose Blake of Orlando, FL, step-son Evan Harmon of Corvallis, OR, mother Mary Lou Blake of Willows, CA, Richard & Pam Blake of San Luis Obispo, CA, Randy & JoAnne Blake of Austria, Scott Blake of Orland, CA, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Chloe.
