Rosie Lee (Dodson) Willis, 94 of Magnolia, Arkansas died January 1, 2009 at Magnolia Healthcare in Magnolia.
She was born November 1, 1914 in Columbia County, Arkansas to the late Frank and Martha Susie (Elmore) Dodson. She was a seamstress for Shanhouse for 20 years and Magnolia Manor for 10 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Magnolia.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Newton Willis; son, Robert Willis; sisters, Eunice Garrett and Emma Jane Williams.
Survivors are her two sons, Leroy Willis and wife Martha of Magnolia and Tom Willis of Norphlet; one daughter, Sue (Willis) Elmore and husband Amos of Magnolia; one sister, Francis (Dodson) Nipper of Emerson; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Venna Willis of Waldo, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2009 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
