TYNER - Mildred Waff Bunch, 74, of Route 1, died Dec. 6, 1993, in Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Bunch was a retired secretary for Perry-Wynn Fish Co., and a member of the Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Bunch was the daughter of the late Hettie Layton Waff and John Edward Waff Sr. and the wife of the late Hughes M. Bunch Sr.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Parks of Hampton; one son, Hughes M. Bunch Jr. of Chesapeake; four sisters, Hettie Wallace and Doris Bunch, both of Edenton, Kathleen Byrum of Tyner, Juanita Spruill of Roper; five brothers, Edward Waff, Maurice Waff, and Edsel Waff, all of Edenton, John Waff Jr. III of Wilmington, Alvin Waff of Hampton; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Williford-Barham Funeral Home, Edenton, is handling arrangements.
