She was born in La Grande, Oregon, on February 3, 1926, to Arne and Flora Copple, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her husband, James; two son-in-laws; an infant brother; and grandson.
Upon retiring, she became very active in the Evergreen Grange and the Winston-Dillard Senior Center, where she loved to play Bingo.
She is survived by her five children: James (Violet) Eaton of Shoshone, ID; Janet (Ron) Judd of Roseburg; Susan Eaton and Sherry Neiss of Winston; and Rosanne (Sam) Williams of Roseburg; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
There will be a potluck luncheon from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the Roseburg Senior Center, 1614 SE Stephens St., in Roseburg, to celebrate her life. Please bring your memories and favorite luncheon dish.
