JOSHUA E.B. ZIMMERMAN, well-known farmer of near Feagaville, was found dead on Friday afternoon in the yard of his home by his son, Charles E. Zimmerman, aged 64 years. Death was due to a heart attack. Mr. Zimmerman had gone to the barn to harness a horse for a trip to Jefferson. A short time later he was found lying on the ground in the yard of his son.

The deceased was a life-long resident of Ballenger district and was an extensive property owner. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. He was a son of the late Joseph E. and Mahale Stine Zimmerman.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret R. Zimmerman and the following children: Mrs. Harry P. Fraley, near Jefferson; Howard D. Zimmerman, Frederick; Mrs. Charles Kemp, near Jefferson; Joseph H. Zimmerman, near Feagaville; and Charles E. Zimmerman, at home; two sisters, Mrs. George Cramer, Braddock; and Mrs. David R. Stockman, Jefferson; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the home and burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. M.R. Etchison and Son were the funeral directors.
