She married Jerome B. Sholly. She was the mother of Jim, Tom, Carol and David. After her daughter passed away from a car accident on Mother's Day 1971, she took care of Carol son, who was just a baby and Carol's husband had died a year earlier. Sally was widowed young and never remarried. She lived in South Bend,Indiana until her grandson was older then they both moved to Woodbridge, Prince William County, Virginia be closer to her son Jim and more of her family members. She passed away in early 2000's.
