Actress. She worked in films, television, and the theatrical stage before serving in Parliament and in government. She studied at the National Theatre of Greece Drama School and excelled in ancient drama. Synodinou performed on the theatrical stage before going into the cinema world and later television. Her film and television credits include "The 300 Spartans" (1962), "Ilektra" (1962) and "Matomena homata" (2008). Synodinou was awarded several times for her work through the years. She was elected to the Greek parliament in 1974 and served until 1990 and also served as deputy minister for social security from 1977 to 1981.
