Born 8th out of 11 children to Price and Helen Johnson. He was blessed with a natural charm and was always the peace maker in the family.

At the age of 16 he began his passion for repairing cars at Wolfinstiens Garage in St. George. After graduating from Dixie High School he joined the National Guard and was honorably discharged.

His greatest joy in life was his five children He gave them everything he had and more.

In 1971 Joe made his home in Kanab. he began his business, Kanab Body and Paint and became a well known member of the community. He had a natural ability to make every person he came in contact with feel important. Always a story and a smile for everyone.

Joe is survived by his children, Rick, Derrick, Jakey Leigh and Luke. Ten grandchilden, one great grandchild, five honorary children and siblings Eleanor, Sherrel, Ann, Alma, Darrell and David. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that meant so much to him. He made each and every one feel like his favorite.

Preceded in death by his parents; Price and Helen; siblings Esther, Earl, Neta and Isabel and his beloved son Joseph Randall Johnson.
