Mrs. Chenet-Thompson is survived by husband, Darnell Thompson; children, Christian Chenet, Darrian McNeal and Tanisha Butler; mother, Linda Jones; sisters Patricia Chenet and Treshauna Ward; and a host of cousins and other relatives. Burial is at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette, La.
