Herrin- Chad William Lee Foster, 22, of Herrin, died at 2:15 AM, Sunday, August 20, 2006 at his home in Herrin.

Chad was born on December 30, 1983 in Herrin to Charles & Lisa (Finney) Foster.

He worked at Lombard Café in Herrin and, prior to that, at Walt's Pizza in Marion. He also worked odd jobs helping out friends and family. Chad had a keen sense of humor and was loyal to a fault. He was a survivalist who had a zest for life. He enjoyed fast cars, video games, especially "Halo", and rock music. He was drummer in the rock band, "Lash Out".

He was preceded in death by his grandmother; Joyce Finney & Uncles & Aunts; Vivian & Elmer Metz & Bill Finney, Jr.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Layman Donnie Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
